Next week we celebrate the life of one of the greatest African American leader of civil rights, the United States. Martin Luther King Day 2010 was celebrated Monday, January 18, 2010. Every year we celebrate this holiday the third Monday in January. Martin Luther King, Jr., born January 15, 1929. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended a separate school system.He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1948 from Morehouse College, his bachelor’s degree at the University of father and grandfather, who received them.

He later got his doctorate in 1955 from Boston University. King, famous for his contribution to the movement for civil rights. He served on the Executive Committee of the NAACP (National Association for Colored People of growth). Perhaps the most famous of American investment history of “I Have Dream” speech in a crowd of 250,000.

Success in other lives, including the President of the Southern Leadership Conference in March in Washington in the chair, he received an honorary degree and 5 years was named Man of the Year 1963 edition of Time Magazine. He is the youngest winner of Noble Peace Prize. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on the night of April 1968 2. Remember, Martin Luther King January 18, has all of his contributions and courage that we are where we are today. He fought for the rights of same and has inspired many other African Americans to improve and continue to fight for the rights of same.
